Last year, I was seeing the Our Place Always Pan everywhere. It took the internet by storm because where else are you going to find a stunning, aesthetically pleasing cookware set?! It was one of those moments where I thought – I should have thought of that! haha
As we were packing up our kitchen for our remodel, I ended up donating most of our mismatched pots and pans. I had collected quite a few over the years and had a few mismatched lids from different sets. During the remodel, I started my research for a completely new set and was thrilled to finally invest in Our Place!

Whether you’re cooking in the kitchen of your dreams or finding ways to upgrade what you have on a budget – styling is what makes a space unforgettable. I love using practical items for kitchen decor, but it’s not as easy at it looks to find pots and pans that fit my design style – until now!
But here’s the real question — does it work? Does it hold up?
Our Place Always Pan – The Details
The Our Place Always Pan is a 10-inch non-stick ceramic pan. It’s made without PTFEs, PFOAs, other PFAS, as well as potentially toxic materials like lead and cadmium which is really important me.
What sets the Always Pan® apart from other non-stick pans is its ability to do the job of eight traditional pieces of cookware. This pan can braise, sear, steam, strain, sauté, fry, boil, serve, and even store your food – and I’ve done it all! It’s the ultimate multitasking kitchen tool that will save you both time and space.
The Our Place Always Pan Is:
- Beautiful and comes in many colors
- Completely non-stick
- Made on non-toxic materials
- Deep enough for multiple functions
- 10″ which is a great size
- Oven safe
It replaces all of your other pans?
When I’m cooking, I’m making enough food for a family of 7. It isn’t always realistic for me to cook an entire meal for all of us is one pan, but if you have a smaller family, I can absolutely see how it’s possible! It replaced a few, for sure.
I also have the Caraway pan set and I use and love them both.
Are Non-Stick Pans Safe?
Traditional non-stick coatings are known to contain harmful chemicals such as PTFEs and PFOAs that can release toxic fumes when heated. However, the Always Pan is made without these chemicals, as well as other PFAS and potentially toxic materials.
Is the Always Pan Worth It?
The biggest complaint I hear about the Always Pan from Our Place is that it’s not truly non-stick. I don’t necessarily agree, but I do always use a touch of oil with it. I cook with oil out of habit and it’s not something that bothers me.
I’m wondering if the coating gets more tough over time, but with a touch of oil during use, I have had zero problems. My pan is “non-stick” effect every time. The ceramic layer allows also easy cleaning which is a big bonus. I do not have to scrub and scrape it!
After over a year of use, I am still a fan and my pan is still non-stick without chipping. What else can you ask for?
Should You Get The Always Pan?
I give it two thumbs up! The price is a bit steep for one pan, but if the aesthetic is important to you – I recommend it!
If you’re more concerned with function over anything else, I wouldn’t say it’s “better” than any other pan. For smaller families, newlyweds, or if you’re limited on space, I think this is a worthy investment because you can get away with this being the only pan in your kitchen.
