I’ve always dreamed of having a formal music room. I played violin for 7 years but my boys are very interested in music. They are learning guitar, violin, trombone and the piano. My oldest has taken a serious interest in piano and sitting in this space with him practicing is one of my favorite things to do lately. I am so proud of the hard work he is putting in and this space brings me so much peace.

The butterfly wall has become a tradition of mine in my last 3 homes. I have recreated a new rendition of this space THREE times now and I love it so much. My butterfly wall is inspired by my sister in heaven (she passed away 3 years ago) and butterflies remind me of her. Every time I walk by and see them in my home, I feel like she is close by and it brings me comfort. I also love the symbolism in butterflies that provide hope to so many.
