March is here, which means we are so close to spring! The weather is warming up and we are spending more and more time outside with each passing day. To be completely transparent, I’ve been busier than ever and a lot has been weighing on me in my personal life. Where I’d usually be getting through projects (home and work related) at a faster pace, life has caught up with me.
I’m a bit surprised that it’s almost Easter and I haven’t had a chance to finish and reveal my closet along with a few other projects on my list. This is a post I do (almost) every year and I wasn’t going to let life get in the way of sitting down and sharing some of my favorite fashion finds with you!
I know you’ll see a lot of Easter fashion posts over the next few weeks, but I remember for many years that finding a dress that honored my style wasn’t always as easy as ordering from Amazon. Picking out a new dress each year is a small tradition that brings me joy and I’m happy to share what eyeing with you.
Today on the blog, I am so excited to share my compiled list of gorgeous Easter dresses to celebrate the occasion!
My thoughts on Amazon Dresses…
I am not usually the type of person to buy something new for every occasion. For many years while Craig was in school, a new outfit for every holiday was completely out of the question and we celebrated just the same!
Amazon isn’t always the best quality or the most sustainable choice, but to find a few great options under $30 for a dress you can wear all season long – I can’t say no! I do my best to find the pieces worth the price and the ones I’m sharing with you today run the gamut from Amazon fast fashion to high quality dresses I’d invest in today and plan to wear for seasons to come.
All this to say, I love that there are options for every price point, but also know that a beautiful Easter is within reach with or without a new outfit.
A family photo on Easter just feels like a necessity while we are all dressed in our Sunday best! With the nicer weather, I can wrangle all the boys (and Craig) to stand outside in good lighting or on the stairs for one good shot. I love looking back at the same photo each year and seeing how we’ve all grown and evolved. Let me say, my style has become so much better than previous years.
My Tip for Amazon Dresses:
If you’re on the hunt for some top-notch fashion finds on Amazon, keep these tips in your back pocket:
- Let’s Talk Price: The price tag can be a pretty reliable first clue. Since Amazon is now carries tons brand names, a higher price *can* hint towards quality. That’s just the beginning—price isn’t the be-all and end-all.
- The Power of Reviews: I don’t buy anything without peeking at the reviews. Pay special attention to mentions of the item’s weight. I think when an item is heavier in weight, it can elevate the look and quality.
- Beware of “Cheap” Descriptions: Keywords like “cheap” in reviews are red flags. They often indicate that it feels or looks low quality, regardless of its price point.
Easter Dresses by Price:
Although the term “affordable” might make you think cheap, these dresses are really beautiful and perfect for this occasion. Here is the list:
- Amazon Smocked Tier Ruffle Dress
- Amazon V-Line Flowy Maxi Dress
- Amazon Puff Sleeve Smocked Dress
- Amazon Ribbed Sweater Dress
Mid-Range:
Abercrombie has been at the top of my list over the last year for basics and occasion dresses. Love their new Spring additions!
- Abercrombie Emerson Poplin Puff Sleeve Midi Dress
- Abercrombie Linen-Blend Easy Waist Romper
- Abercrombie Emerson Chiffon Long-Sleeve Midi Dress
- Abercrombie Emerson Eyelet Midi Dress
- Abercrombie Emerson Poplin Puff Sleeve Midi Dress
Luxury:
Ivy City Co. is always on my list if I’m looking for a new dress! I have several and they hold up very well. It’s definitely more of an investment, but these aren’t dresses you’ll find anywhere else.
