How Is This Different from LTK and Amazon Affiliates?
If you’re familiar with platforms like LTK or Amazon Affiliates, you might be wondering how ShopMy is different.
For starters, ShopMy is more flexible. Unlike LTK, which requires creators to have at least 5,000 followers, ShopMy is open to everyone—no follower minimums are needed. It also offers higher commission rates (up to 30%) for certain brands and lets me curate products from a huge variety of stores, even if they’re not commissionable, which isn’t always an option with LTK.
Right now, Amazon products are showing as “not commissionable” for me when I pull the links directly to ShopMy. As a workaround, I manually enter my own Amazon link to the product. It’s really simple to do and I LOVE that I can even post non-ShopMy links on my ShopMy page. Such an incredible feature!
ShopMy also allows me to post a larger variety of text and links. I can post my affiliate codes, blog post links – basically anything that is relevant to my audience all in one place. This is a HUGE differentiator from Amazon Affiliates and LTK. It’s truly like another version of my website without any long-form content.
